Co-Founder
Chip is a Co-Founder of Desert Gold and is responsible for investor sourcing, deal origination,
investor
relationship management, executing acquisition strategies and financial matters.
Chip is also a Co-Founder of Tokenized Energy , a new platform which tokenizes interests in
upstream oil
& gas assets on the Base blockchain.
He also serves as CEO of Titanium Exploration Partners, LLC, with responsibility for managing
its
remaining Mid-Continent assets. Titanium deployed approx. $600mm+ for two private equity funds
(each with
$15B+ of AUM) in the Eagle Ford Shale play in South Texas, the Scoop/Stack plays in the
Mid-Continent and
the Delaware Basin over a 10 year period.
Prior to Titanium, Chip served as Managing Director of Clear Creek Capital, a Dallas, TX-based
oil and gas
investment firm, which originated and managed investments in AB Resources (Appalachian Basin),
Kerns
Petroleum (Permian Basin/Eagle Ford Shale/Granite Wash), AleAnna Resources (Italy) and Torch
Resources,
for a New York City-based private equity fund. He served on the Boards of AB Resources and Kerns
Petroleum.
Chip graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a double major in Economics & Political
Science,
then received a JD from the University of Virginia.
Co-Founder
Adrian is responsible for Desert Gold's business development, relationship management with our
key
industry partners, and investment decision-making.
Adrian is also a Co-Founder in Tokenized Energy which provides a transparent marketplace for
investors
to acquire mineral rights and non-operated working interests on the blockchain.
Adrian is an active investor in upstream oil and gas assets (primarily non-op) and owns assets
in the
Permian, Powder River Basin, Scoop and Bakken shale basins.
Prior to co-founding Tokenized Energy and Desert Gold Oil & Gas, Adrian served as the Executive
Vice
President of Land & Business Development for Titanium Exploration Partners, LLC which managed
minerals
and non-operated working interests in the Permian, Scoop/Stack, and Eagle Ford shale plays.
Adrian
oversaw the divestment of tens of millions of dollars of assets on behalf of two global private
equity
investors.
Adrian started his career in oil and gas as a partner at Purple Land Management (a Fort Worth,
TX based
land and technology consulting company). Adrian, as Vice President of Corporate Development, was
integral in scaling the business to over $50mm a year in revenue and the development of a
patented,
GIS-based oil and gas asset management platform (Overdrive). Adrian led the sale of PLM to a
Dallas, TX,
based private equity firm in 2018 and joined Titanium Exploration partners shortly
thereafter.
Adrian is a graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law and holds a B.A. degree in
Government
from the University of Texas at Austin.
Co-Founder
Aaron is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and for managing all of Desert
Gold's land
related matters, including evaluating and negotiating all land-related documents (including
JOAs, oil and
gas leases, etc.), coordinated title reviews with outside land firms of our acquisition targets,
conducting our closings, performing asset management services post-acquisition and coordinating
our exits,
including assembling data rooms and managing our outside relationships with investment bankers
and
investors. In addition to daily land/asset management items, he focuses on identifying
opportunities to
extract more value from the asset base through acreage trades and other opportunistic
development
opportunities.
Prior to founding Desert Gold Oil & Gas, LLC, Aaron served as Vice President of Land at Titanium
Exploration
Partners (“TEP”), where he performed the services described above.
Prior to joining TEP, he was the Director of Client Acquisitions at Purple Land Management in
Fort Worth, TX
where he managed due diligence projects for approximately $20 billion of A&D and financing
transactions across
the Midland Basin, Delaware Basin, Eagle Ford, Oklahoma, and Rockies.
Aaron is a graduate of Texas Christian University and holds a Bachelor of Science in
Economics.
